I know I’ve been lagging behind in my posts, but I came down with a pretty bad cold a few days ago. Since I had a cold, I decided to take some time to shoot some photos of Munchkin in her new small dog halloween costume. Unfortunately, we don’t carry this particular costume yet…but we plan on getting some in the future. We were walking along the Gaslamp district in San Diego and came across this super cute small dog costume. Here is Munchkin modeling this ultra cute lion dog costume. Her face is a little wet from drinking some water previously.

This picture doesn’t do the costume or Munchkin much justice. She looks like she just took a bath and wants to go to sleep! Just take my word that this costume is absolutely adorable on her. As I mentioned earlier, we picked up this Costume from the Lucky Dog Boutique in Downtown. After we saw this costume, we decided that we needed to order some of these to keep in our inventory since we loved it so much. We were debating between a small dog turtle costume and and a small dog elephant costume for Munchkin. The lion costume took the decision hands down.
As soon as we put the dog costume on her, we almost all fell on the floor laughing. The dog costume was SOOOOO cute! Here’s another shot to see the whole thing dog costume. Munchkin is being a little shy here since she really doesn’t know what’s going on. Little does she know that she’s the new King of the Jungle!

Little Munchie is hiding her cute little face, but you can just see how adorable this little costume is. The other thing about this dog costume is the tail which you can’t fully see in the picture. It pretty much has a fuzzy tip with the same material as the mane. I can’t describe how adorable Munchkin looked with this small dog costume on while strolling around our house. She was a little confused at first, but she got used to her new fluffy lion mane in a few seconds. If you are in the San Diego area on October 28th, we plan on entering Munchkin in the Daily Pet Halloween Dog Costume Contest in Del Mar. The contest is located off of Del Mar Heights Rd in the huge neighborhood shopping center. We hope that Munchkin places first place for the “Scariest Dog” Contest. I know what you all are thinking….she’s scariest dog you’ve ever seen
We also invited some friends over for an evening of dress up. Our friends were looking for some cute dog costumes for their little Maltipoo, Pookie. We agreed that the skunk dog costume looked the best on her, so we decided to share the picture with you guys. Isn’t she just adorable in her skunk costume!

Anyhow, we had a blast trying on all our costumes. Just seeing these dogs for the first time wearing these cute costumes is absolutely priceless. Halloween is drawing near, so be sure to get your small or large dog costumes today. Click here to see our entire selection of cute and spooky dog costumes.
