PawYard.com puts on local dog events throughout San Diego on a pretty regular basis.  The last few events took place in Little Italy, San Diego.  Every event gets lots of dogs participating in different sorts of costume contests.  This last weekend was the “PawYard Howl-o-Day Pooch Party” where there was a Christmas themed costume contest.  We decided to make our own costume for our little Yorkie, Munchkin.  Unfortunately we were a little strapped on time, so the costume didn’t come out as perfect as we would have liked, but it apparently got the job done.  Munchkin won 1st Place for the small dog costume contest.  As you can see, she’s dressed as a little present under the Mini Christmas Tree!  We even found these little Yorkie Christmas Ornaments to decorate the tree.  This photo was taken by a photographer from the San Diego Union Tribune.

The picture looks like Munchkin only has one eye!  However, don’t fret, we guarantee that she has both her eyes.  She’s probably thinking “Get this stinking bow off my head!”
